Printing Info

The photographs presented on this website are digital representations of giclée photograph prints from 35mm, 120, and 4×5 negative film and digital capture. Photographs captured with film are scanned with a high end drum scanner and then imported into a digital workstation. The digital file is then corrected to match the original. Photographs captured digitally are imported into a digital workstation where they are corrected to match, as close as possible, the original scene.

All prints are mounted and framed using archival materials for maximum print stability. Custom frames and sizing is available by request. Please contact me for further information.

Sizes

Enlarging photographs is limited by the size of the native file that the camera captured. Based on this a photograph can only be enlarged so much before the photo falls apart, or pixelates. Older images can only go up to 24”x36” (image size) while newer images were captured using more modern camera equipment so can be printed quite large, exceeding 60” on the longest side.

Giclée Prints

Giclée prints are fine art digital water color prints using the highest archival products available. Life expectancy is rated between 110-190 years.
